Grounding your space: four sides, then one field

The idea at the heart of this classGrounding

Grounding A seated figure, split light and dark and softly lit, sits on the crest of the earth, drawn as a mound of rounded petals in moss, plum, rose umber and mustard, with a pale flower and a pearl at its center. First a peach cord draws down from the base of the spine to that center. Then pearls of light run down the cord and fade into the center. Then cords are made and undone in turn: red, yellow, blue, brown, a waterfall of six wavy strands, and roots that fork as they go down. Then green streams rise from the earth into a flower at each foot and up the legs. Last, an egg of lilac and pale blue stands behind the figure for the aura, and the center of the head, the aura and the frame of the room each get their own cord to their own point in the earth, while the body's cord and the streams step back. the center of the head the aura the room

Ground each side of your space

6 steps, playing in turn. Choose a number to hold one.

Notice the space around you. Inhale to draw the aura in, exhale to let it move out; it is organic, not exact.

02:38 to 03:50

Shift your energy to the left, three or four feet there and an inch or two on the right. Ground it and fill holes.

04:21 to 06:04

Rebalance, then do the same with the right side, then the front, putting two to four feet there and little behind you.

06:04 to 08:14

Rebalance, then put all your energy behind you, which may feel odd. Ground it and balance all four sides.

08:14 to 09:27

Make one new grounding for the whole space instead of four quadrants, and ground the entire field.

09:29 to 09:46

Pour a fresh gold sun of your own energy into the space like a pitcher: below, around, then above your head. Check your grounding.

One release route can be joined by other target-specific cords. The body's cord The foot channels The earth, with its center Head, aura and room cords The red, yellow, blue and brown cords in step III are source examples. Every other color only tells parts apart; it is not the color a cord, the earth or earth energy should be.
The body's cordLets energy goDown from the base of the spine to the center of the earth.
The foot channelsBring energy inUp from the earth through a chakra in each foot.

Keep target and direction clear: grounding releases downward; intake channels bring energy in.

The aura is an organic, changing field: clear and fill each side in turn, then ground the whole space as one.

An organic space can move

Create an up-to-date grounding cord from the first chakra to the center of the earth. Let it be authentic, pleasing, and able to release energy into the earth. Check the first chakra and drain excess energy affecting the body's survival, health and well-being.

Bring awareness back to the body, then notice the gold sun above you. It is available whenever you feel depleted, but this practice works mainly with personal space.

Shift attention to the aura below, around and above you. You have more energy than the physical body can contain, so you inhabit the space around the body too.

The aura is organic. Inhale and draw it in slightly. Exhale and let it move out. It is not perfect, exact or always the same. It changes, moves and carries life force.

Because you are in charge of you, you can move awareness and energy around the field. This does not harm the body. It teaches you what each side feels like and gives each side a chance to clear.

Work side by side.

  1. Move most of your energy to the left side, three or four feet out, with only an inch or two on the right.
  2. Ground the left side.
  3. Drain anything that does not feel right.
  4. Let your own energy fill holes or missing places.
  5. Bring the left and right back into balance.

Repeat the same process on the right side. Then move energy to the front, leaving little behind. Ground the front and clear anyone else's energy there. Front-heavy space is common.

Finally, put energy behind you. This can feel odd because many people do not keep much life force in the back of the field. Ground the back, clear what does not belong, let awareness take charge, and then balance front, back, left and right.

Reunify before replenishing

After each side has been explored, stop working with four separate quadrants. Create one new grounding for the whole personal space. Ground the entire field as one aura again.

Then bring in a fresh gold sun filled with the energy that makes you you. Let it carry courage, inspiration and the quality that is different from anyone or anything else.

Pour that gold sun into the aura like liquid into a pitcher.

  1. Fill below the feet first.
  2. Fill around the legs and up to the knees and hips.
  3. Fill the space around the torso, left, right, front and back.
  4. Fill around the neck and face.
  5. Fill above the head.

This step fills the space, not the physical body. Notice the body's response anyway. Mood, tingling or emotion can shift when the aura fills with your energy. Blow up the sun, check the first-chakra grounding, and open the eyes after the field is whole.

Practice

The guided practice runs from 00:00:09 to 00:12:22. Do it whole, from the preparation through the return. It uses tools from earlier lessons.

Detailed quadrant work is followed by explicit reintegration and return. Keep the reintegration with any excerpted quadrant.
