Non-judgment still includes experience

The idea at the heart of this classGrounding

Grounding A seated figure, split light and dark and softly lit, sits on the crest of the earth, drawn as a mound of rounded petals in moss, plum, rose umber and mustard, with a pale flower and a pearl at its center. First a peach cord draws down from the base of the spine to that center. Then pearls of light run down the cord and fade into the center. Then cords are made and undone in turn: red, yellow, blue, brown, a waterfall of six wavy strands, and roots that fork as they go down. Then green streams rise from the earth into a flower at each foot and up the legs. Last, an egg of lilac and pale blue stands behind the figure for the aura, and the center of the head, the aura and the frame of the room each get their own cord to their own point in the earth, while the body's cord and the streams step back. the center of the head the aura the room

Seeing without judging

6 steps, playing in turn. Choose a number to hold one.

Use grounding, then bring attention about two and a half feet in front, behind, and through the forehead into neutrality in the center of the head.

02:06 to 03:43

From the head center, release pressure and picture a mountaintop, seashore or room with an unobstructed view.

03:43 to 05:53

non-judgment means seeing how things are, not how they should be. Look at your grounding without fixing it, then recreate it fresh.

07:04 to 08:05

Do the same with your energy field, recreating it as you like. This is being active, not reactive.

08:05 to 09:07

Pour gold sun energy into the head center until nothing else fits, then through your body and energy field.

09:41 to 10:44

non-judgment does not mean not experiencing: you can feel wonders and thrilling energies without insisting how they should be.

One release route can be joined by other target-specific cords. The body's cord The foot channels The earth, with its center Head, aura and room cords The red, yellow, blue and brown cords in step III are source examples. Every other color only tells parts apart; it is not the color a cord, the earth or earth energy should be.
The body's cordLets energy goDown from the base of the spine to the center of the earth.

Keep target and direction clear: grounding releases downward; intake channels bring energy in.

Non-judgment means seeing how things are rather than how they should be; it does not mean you stop experiencing.

Ground and locate attention

Ideas hereAura and layersChakrasGrounding

Grounding comes first. Create a new cord from the first chakra to the center of the earth, then release tension and anxiety into it. The cord is also communication with the earth, which helps the body find safety.

Clear the first chakra and bring awareness back to yourself. Then make an attention point about two and a half feet in front of you. Move it behind you, bring it back to the front, pass it through the aura and forehead, and settle just past halfway toward the back of the head.

The center of the head is the sixth chakra, the seat of awareness. It is the opposite of checking out. It is checked-in presence. If pressure or something that does not belong appears there, send it down the grounding. Make the head center a safe place with an open view.

Seeing rather than imposing how it should be

Ideas hereGroundingNeutrality

In the center of the head, non-judgment is a vibration. It means seeing more of how things are instead of forcing them to match how they should be.

Practice it directly:

  1. Stay in the head center.
  2. Notice the grounding below you.
  3. Look at it without fixing, improving or condemning it.
  4. Blow it up.
  5. Recreate it fresh, present-time and pleasing to you.
  6. Notice the whole energy field in the same way.
  7. Blow up that image and recreate the field with a color, quality and grounding that please you.

This is not passivity. It is active creation without reactive judgment. You are not saying that whatever appears must stay. You are looking clearly, then creating from the center instead of reacting from the edge.

If attention leaves the head center, return. The practice is not spoiled by leaving. The return is part of how the body learns.

Vivid experience, not numbness

Ideas hereChakrasGoldGroundingNeutrality

Create a gold sun above the head and pour your own energy into the center-of-head space until there is no room for anything else. Then let the gold fill the body, fingertips, toes, muscles, bones, torso, limbs and energy field.

Notice the body's response to your energy and to neutrality. Non-judgment does not mean having no experience. It means experience is not trapped in should or should not. Wonder, intensity and thrilling energy can be present without becoming a verdict.

You can ground anything that needs to leave. You can fill again with gold whenever you choose. This is where you are in charge of body and life for the moment. Add a little more gold to the seventh chakra, tug the grounding and open the eyes when ready.

Practice

The guided practice runs from 00:00:09 to 00:12:32. Do it whole, from the preparation through the return. It uses tools from earlier lessons.

Full closing present. This lesson’s non-judgment is sourcely defined; do not silently substitute indifference or a universal moral doctrine.
