The rose symbol: a boundary without micromanaging

The idea at the heart of this classRoses

RosesA person seen from the front stands inside an aura of two sea-green petal rings, split down the middle like the field, on a lilac earth. First a large rose blooms in front of them at the aura's front edge: rings of rounded pink and salmon petals around a gold heart with a spiral, its stem running down into the earth; light comes in from outside to the rose and runs down the stem. Next dull lumps land on the rose until it is covered; it is blown away and a new rose blooms in its place, and smaller roses bloom at each side, on the aura's edge. Then the rose glows gold as light gathers into it from the body; it is sent up and away to the corner, blown up into flying petals, and another rose blooms in front. Next a pale ring is traced round the rose and lines go out to three words, color, quality and tone; the rose is left as it is. Last, dark specks fall from the rose down its stem, the same rose cleaner, the word washed beside it; in the corner a small picture is blown away and a new one appears, the word new above it. colorqualitytone washednew

This class’s practice

The rose symbol

6 steps, playing in turn. Choose a number to hold one.

Set up the usual system first: grounding, earth and cosmic energy running, attention in the head center, and your space around you.

00:35 to 05:08

Picture a rose at the front edge of your aura, from a memory, a cartoon or a photograph.

05:40 to 06:11

Whatever you don't want entering goes to the rose. Ground it or give it a long stem; it a neutral, gentle symbol.

06:11 to 06:47

If the rose vanishes, blow up what remains and set a new one. You can add roses behind you and on each side.

06:47 to 07:49

Fill your aura with gold sun and watch the roses work. Once set, you need not micromanage them.

07:49 to 08:54

Choose any rose you like, one rose or 10,000. You don't have to leave to have your space or be safe.

The same imagined rose does different jobs: catching, clearing and being read.A rose: one neutral image The aura, its edge Colors only tell parts apart; they are not the color a rose or an aura should be. In step IV a reader describes the rose's own color, quality and tone and leaves it as it is.
Catching and clearingThe rose is usedIt stands at the edge, or gathers energy and is blown up.
ReadingThe rose is left aloneIts color, quality and tone are described, not made nicer.

Use the rose for the job shown in the frame: boundary, replacement, clearing, reading or comparison with picture work.

A rose at the edge of the aura catches what you do not want entering; once set, it can work without micromanaging it.

Start with the established system

Start with grounding. A line from the first chakra to the center of the earth creates safety and lets excess energy release. Let the body come down and settle.

Run earth energy first. Open the feet chakras, draw fresh earth energy into the feet, let it rise through ankles, legs, knees, upper legs and the first chakra, and let it return down the grounding. If you get spacey, breathe and stretch.

Add cosmic energy. Open the crown, bring cosmic energy into the seventh chakra, send it down the back channels to the first chakra, blend it with earth energy, and let the mixture rise up the front channels. Let it fountain above the head and branch through arms, hands and hand chakras.

Then call attention back from devices, future tasks and other people. Slip into the center of the head while the body runs energy. Gold sun energy can enter the crown and body without interfering with earth and cosmic flow. Recreate and ground the aura as a field around you.

A symbol receives what need not enter

A rose at the edge of the aura gives incoming energy a place to go before it enters you. Picture a rose from memory, a thought, a cartoon image or a photograph. Place it at the front edge of the aura.

Most incoming energies do not bother you. For energy you do not want in your space, use the rose:

  1. Let the incoming energy go to the rose instead of the aura.
  2. Give the rose a grounding cord or a long stem.
  3. Let the energy drain through the rose into the earth.
  4. If heavy energy makes the rose disappear, blow up what remains.
  5. Place a new rose at the edge of the aura.
  6. Add roses behind you, to the left and to the right if four directions help.

The rose is a neutral and gentle symbol. It does not require force. It gives the energy somewhere else to go.

Set it, replenish, then live

Fill the aura with gold sun energy from bottom to top: below, behind, left, right, front and above. Watch the roses doing their job while your space is filled with your energy.

Once the rose is set, it does not need micromanaging. You can move into the day and let it remain. One rose can work. Ten thousand roses can also work if the playfulness helps.

Blow up the practice roses and create a new rose in any color, shape or size that pleases you. Let incoming energy go there instead of to you. Check grounding and open the eyes.

The point is to keep your space without leaving the body to feel safe.

Practice

The guided practice runs from 00:00:07 to 00:09:57. Do it whole, from the preparation through the return. It uses tools from earlier lessons.

Explicit eyes-open return is present; the rose is deliberately allowed to continue into the day. Do it whole, from the preparation through the return.
